Includes several articles on Oregon and Salem history, statistics for the bank, portraits of the officers, a list of employees (indicating how long they'd been with the bank), group pictures of the staffs of 1888, 1912, 1916, and 1939 (each with name identifications), an article on its oldest living depositor (Madison L. Jones, a continuous customer since 1871), and articles on modern checking and its method, the Ladd & Bush Trust Company, and the conveniences of their Rushour and Night Depositories.
The name written on the front cover is that of Albert Otto Arpke (1904-1988), a teller at the bank who appears in the 1939 employee group photograph (a small arrow identifies him). He started working at the bank in 1925.
