Published around 1880, inferred by the address of the publishing house of Thomas Y. Crowell, which was located at 744 Broadway between 1876 and 1881.

Includes four stories: Will Warden and I (a drama of a couple young English boys in growing up around, and later working on, fishing boats); The Children in the Clouds (the escape of a hot air balloon with only farmer children in it); How Dick Went to the Picnic (a moral tale of how Dick tries to raise money to go the picnic, selling a cat, catching fish, picking blackberries, etc.); and Little Sailor Jack (about a boy who survives a Christmastime shipwreck near the Orkeny Islands).
