Includes a two-page history of VX-6/VXE-6. In addition to Antarctic operations it also traces the squadron's deployment, beginning with preparations at the Naval Air Station at Quonset Point (RI) and the journey to Christchurch (NZ) to the final leg to McMurdo Station in October 1970. Also, the return home in March 1971.
