Inscribed ''To Betty / with every good / wish of / Ardyth Kennelly''. Below the inscription there is a penciled note indicating that Ardyth was a ''friend of Veronica Tracy.'' [For reference, Tracy was a teacher at Albany High School for many years, at least as early as the 1930-31 school year. Kennelly graduated from Albany High School in 1929.]
Laid-in is newspaper clipping from The Oregonian, profiling Kennelly's art exhibit at a Portland gallery in 1996.
