Dorothy Owen Hann (1883-1963), the wife of Rev. Archie Cecil Hann, wrote many books for children and young adults, beginning in the early 1920s with the ''Peg'' series. She lived in South London until 1925 when her husband was transferred to Redhill, Somerset.
