Pinhole library stamp on the title page and one additional page of text. 74 illustrations (9 plates, including frontispiece and four fold-outs, each with pinhole stamp; 65 in-text illustrations). Color map at rear, showing the author's route (also with pinhole stamp). pp. xv, 309, plus [32] advertising. 8.6 x 5.5 inches. Placed in removable, clear archival sleeve with a small, loose slip of acid-free, color-coordinated paper to mask the call number.
