A rare copy of ''Mephisto Dance,'' a piano piece for four-hands, dedicated by the composer to ''the ideal 'Mephisto,''' Mr. Lewis Morrison (1844-1906), a Jamaican-born stage actor, who was best known for his portrayal of Mephistopheles in his own production of Faust, which he performed from 1885 to 1906.
No copies of this edition noted on OCLC (though two copies of the British edition, published by Sheard, are noted at the British Library and the National Library of Scotland).
