The whimsical story of Mr. Angelo, a man who loves to cook and then eat whatever he cooks, but who also cooks more than he can eat by himself. He goes into the restaurant business to sell the abundance, but each new day, according to his fancy, he cooks something different--much to his customers' frustration. His business dilemma is resolved when he takes up a partnership with Jim, a boy who successfully takes the food out in a wagon to sell it.
Illustrated by Abner Graboff (1919-1986) a well known children's book illustrator who in 1954 won "The New York Times Best Illustrated Children's Book" for The Sun Looks Down. Story by Marjory Schwalje (1922-2012) of Long Island, who was the author many children's book, including a few with her husband Earl.
