The first quarter of the book is a biography of Egan's life and work, accompanied by a detailed bibliography. Following this are nearly 100 pages of illustrations, including both published works and never seen before illustrations (twenty-five color; seventy-nine black-and-white). Includes several book and dust-wrapper illustrations, including those for Aleister Crowley's Moonchild, Les Fleurs du Mal, and several works published by William Godwin, Denis Archer, and Fortune Press.
