An explanation of electrohomeopathy and its principles, aims, and methods, by its inventor, Count Cesare Mattei (1809-1896). Originally published in 1888, this work was based on his twenty-five years of trials. Electrohomeopathy was itself an extension of the work of Samuel Hahnemann, founder of homeopathy.
Includes the translator's prefaces to both the first and second editions and an index. The appendix provides a fifty-page alphabetized list of ''Instructive Cases Cured,'' in which the author notes the ailment, age and sex of patient, symptoms, treatment, and the duration of treatment.
