Description: Mounted photograph. Based on research it appears to be a Jamestown College or Jamestown Academy [Jamestown, North Dakota] basketball team, circa 1915. The image shows seven boys in tank tops and shorts, posed, with one holding a basketball with '3' and a 'JC' monogram painted on it.
On the backside is written ''T. E. Kuiper - upper left hand corner''. The photo itself is 9.5 x 7.4 inches. The mounting board is 14 x 12 inches. The photograph is in excellent condition. The top left corner of board is chipped.
Our research shows that a Thomas Exter Kuiper (1895-1962) graduated from Jamestown Academy in June 1914 and then attended Jamestown College for two years. The photo was acquired in Spokane, where his daughter Frances lived.
