b) Lignitz family: Wilhelm Von Lignitz (d. 1879) of Torgelow, Germany, and his wife Christliebe Moschall, their children including Wilhelm/William, and descendants in the region of Kansas, Nebraska and Oklahoma.

c) Groathouse/Grothouse family: John Groathouse (1815-1892) of Germany and Nebraska, his wife Ellen/Ella Almith, and their descendants in Nebraska and Haddam, Kansas.

This volume, researched and written by Vivian Gail Morrow Wade (1937-1998), traces her ancestry through her mother's line.
