Front endpapers have small abraded areas in corners (not affecting illustrations) and a short December 1909 gift inscription on ffep, else interior is unmarked and generally clean. Twenty-seven color plates, including frontispiece. 84, [2] pages.
First edition with all points, including the ''Peter Rabbit & Mother - Florists'' notice board which appears in the picture on page 14, that was removed for the third printing. [Linder, p. 428]
