An illustrated, calligraphic abecedarian of animals, from anteater to zebra, created by Joyce and Dorsey Alexander for their friends, Christmas 1967. Dorsey Alexander (1914-2009) was an expert calligrapher and earned his MFA from the University of California- Berkeley. He and his wife produced twenty-four books together and issued them under the Turtle's Quill Scriptorium imprint.
