Volume I is a history of Redwood County covering pioneers, early settlers, Native Americans, government and civic organization, schools, churches, industry and agriculture, transportation, villages and townships, newspapers, social organizations, and more. Volume II is biographical and gives personal and family histories for 578 persons and features more than 140 portraits and family pictures (one illustration is loose).
