Description: Spring/summer 1936 mens' fashion catalog (suits & sportswear). Large format. Spiral-wire bound in card covers with metal emblem affixed to front cover. 22 pages on heavy stock paper, printed on one side. Every page illustrated (all but two pages are in color). Minor damp stain along bottom edge of pages (about one inch long and a few millimeters deep). 15 x 10.8 inches.

This Sterling Fabrics catalog, presents Model Nos. 800--878, 881-884, and 890-892. The final pages is an advertisement that states ''Wear Sterling Woolens with trousers tailored with Talon [slide fastener]''.

Published by Krafft & Phillips Fashion Co., a graphics publishing house founded in 1919 by Paul Krafft (1878-1953), a German-born illustrator who had previously worked for the U.S. Fashion & Sample Book Co. The Sterling Fabrics Corporation was founded in 1920 in NYC by Harry Horowitz (1899-1982) and managed by him until his retirement in 1968.
