Approximately 350 pages of biographies, several with full-page portraits, of more than 500 early residents of Isabella County, Michigan.

The volume opens with portraits and biographies of all of the Presidents of the United States and all of the Governors of Michigan, and concludes with about 60 pages of history and anecdotes about Isabella County and its townships.
