The Boulder, Colorado memoir of Eben Givens Fine (1865-1957), business leader, conservationist, mountaineer, photographer and promoter in the city. Fine moved to Boulder in 1886, helped originate Chautauqua in the late 1890s, was a charter member and first president of the Rocky Mountain Climbers Club, photographed Arapahoe Glacier while hiking across it in July 1900, served as secretary of the Commercial association, was instrumental in building the Hotel Boulderado, invited 16 Ute to the 1909 Semi-Centennial celebration as ''Boulder's First Citizens,'' and delivered more than 2000 lectures over the course of fifty years on the state's scenic wonders.

Eben G. Fine Park, located just west of Boulder off of Arapahoe Drive, was dedicated in 1959 to his memory.
