The family history and genealogy of the Poppe family, originating with Johann Gotlieb Poppe (1825-1914), who emigrated from Prussia in 1861 and settled in Poole, Perth County, Ontario and later in Gray Township, Huron County, Ontario. In 1871, he relocated to Clark County, Wisconsin. The volume traces six generations of his descendants, quite a few who remained in Clark County, Wisconsin, but were also found in Minnesota, Michigan, Illinois, Manitoba, and Saskatchewan and other places.
