The ranch site was established in the 1870s by Jose Baca, Richard Dunn, and the Pendaries family, entrepreneurs who erected grist and sawmills, mercantile stores, warehouses and corral complexes.

Includes more than a dozen photographs, a site plane, plan diagrams of ranch structures, and a bibliography.
