A largely pictorial presentation of the history of Bradford County, Pennsylvania, along with a miscellany of articles on various aspects of the county's evolving culture, infrastructure, business and livelihood. The author, Elwyn Vern Kie (1928-2014), began collecting local postcards in the early 1950s and over the year his collection grew to include documents, photographs, letters, maps, and histories. These two volumes were intended to provide the historic images which were largely lacking in other Bradford County histories.
