Three of their sons, George, Frederick and Matthew Varner, moved to the wilderness frontiers of Georgia in the 1780's and became leading citizen-planters in Oglethorpe County. Some descendants lived in Alabama (Lowndes and Coosa counties, particularly). Includes a name index, transcribed documents, footnote references.
