Includes an opening chapter which is a chronological history of mnemonics and the accounting of the figures who made significant contributions to the art. The final fifty pages addresses the application of Pick's method to studying French, Latin and German.

Dr. Edward Pick (1825-1899) was an internationally known authority on memory and languages. He was born in Austria and resided in London. As a lecturer, he was known at Harvard, Cornell, Princeton, Oxford, Cambridge, and other universities and colleges.
