The true story of the 15-year old Danish boy scout Palle Huld's solitary trip around the world, made in March-April of 1928 over the course of 44 days. The voyage took him from Denmark to England, Scotland, Canada, Japan, Korea, Manchuria, the Soviet Union, Poland and Germany. The pictures show him at various stages of his trip, including images from his meeting with Japan's Admiral Higo and his meeting with Sir Alfred Pickford, the Headquarters Commissioner for Overseas Scouts of the Boy Scouts Association (UK), as well as of Palle standing before the crowd of 20,000 which greeted him in Copenhagen.
