A comprehensive history covering more than 125 years of Baptist activity in many communities across Oregon by the Baptist historian Albert William Wardin, Jr. (1928-2022). He had served on the faculties of Western Baptist Seminary and Judson Baptist College, and went on to serve as history professor at Belmont University in Nashville for more than a quarter century. He was also to become a highly influential figure and benefactor at the Southern Baptist Historical Library and Archives in Nashville. "Tennessee Baptists: A Comprehensive History" and "The Twelve Baptist Tribes in the U.S.A." are a couple of his other notable works.
