Includes extensive material on the past and present businesses (40 pages worth), plus material on civic institutions, churches, schools, clubs and organizations, agriculture, military (including lists of veterans, Civil War through WWII), sports, community events, notes on important early settlers, and transportation. Also included is a reproduction of the 1909 Sanborn map showing structures locations along Barre, Main, and Burlington streets, from First to Third streets.
It also provides a list of the names of the students in each Class, 1888 to1983, of the Kingsley Public School/Kingsley-Pierson Community School. In addition, it lists the names of all the children (K-12) enrolled during the 1983-84 year at Kingsley-Pierson Community School.
