Brown, Bookbinder to His Majesty, Castle Street, Windsor'' on front pastedown. Some minor soiling, else interior generally clean. Illustrated title page; frontispiece map of the Lakes of Killarney, plate map of the town of Killarney. Lacking the plate showing the Musical Notation of Echo at the Eagle's Nest (penciled notation indicates that it was bound in Vol. II). Errata and Binder's Directions at rear. 16mo. pp. viii, 245, [3]. 16.3 x 10.5 cm.

Legends and lore of the lakes of Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland, presented in a narrative of a fictional tour of the Lakes. The material had been supplied to the Irish folklorist Thomas Crofton Croker (1798-1854) by Robert Adolphus Lynch (1800?-1840), late of the King's German Legion.
