- About Gail Emmons
San Francisco Bay Area ikebana artist Gail Emmons received the Riji certification, the highest rank in the Sogetsu School of Ikebana, while under the tutelage of the ikebana master Sakai Yayoi ''Soho''. In 2011, she served as the Staging Chair for the 10th World Association of Floral Artists (WAFA) Flower Show in Boston. Her trademark in flower arranging has been the development of a dynamic sculptural style that mixes the traditions of both East and West in new and daring ways. In this book she shares many ideas and techniques for designing with leaves.
