This study, which incorporates ancient history, biblical exegesis, cosmology, geophysics, and solar system astrophysics, provides a explanation of seven astronomical cataclysms which besieged the Earth in the era between the Noahian Flood (circa 2500 B.C.) and 701 B.C. These major upheavals were caused by the planet Mars--a Mars in a different orbit from its present-day orbit. These events are:

1. The Tower of Babel Catastrophe (1930 B.C.)
2. The Sodom-Gomorrah Catastrophe (1877 B.C.)
3. The Exodus Catastrophe (1447 B.C)
4. The Long Day of Joshua (1404 B.C.)
5. The Greater Davidic Catastrophe (972 B.C.)
6, The Joel-Amos Catastrophe (756 B.C.)
7. The Isaiahic Catastrophe (701 B.C).

A fascinating study of catastrophism in ancient times before 700 B.C. The reader is presented with overwhelming evidence that, for an era of 1700 years, another planet (Mars) repeatedly, or cyclically, made a close fly-by near, or through, the Earth-Moon system.

The fact emerges that the Biblical story of the Long Day of Joshua, far from being an impossible myth, is an accurate historical account of an event that really happened--an event that can well be described as a precession of the earth's planetary spin axis.

Men from many locations on the Earth reported that the Sun departed from its normal pat across the heavens, as did the Moon. A contemporary scientist might explain this event as a relocated North Pole, along with a retilted spin axis, both being part of the spin axis precession phenomena.
