A pictorial presentation of five residential projects designed by Brad Cloepfil and Allied Works Architecture, each shown in several beautiful color photographs along with their site and floor plans. These works include the Sun Valley Residence (Ketchum, Idaho), the Blue Lakes Residence (Sisters, Oregon), the Willapa Bay House (Ocean Park, Washington), the mixed-use complex at 2281 NW Glisan (Portland, Oregon), and the Dutchess County Residence (Stanfordville, New York).

Allied Works Architecture was founded in 1994 by Brad Cloepfil and at the time this volume was produced (circa 2008), the firm had a total of 34 architects and support staff in their Portland and New York studios. Other Allied Works Architecture projects over the years have included a rebuild at Nike World Headquarters, the Brooklyn building at Pixar Animation Studio's Emeryville campus, the Sokol Blosser Winery tasting room in Dundee, Oregon, and the Wieden+Kennedy World Headquarters.
