An massive, expanded edition, updated through the end of 2003, covering nine generations. Genealogy of Anton Hoelscher, Sr. (1791-1857) and his wife Anna Maria Catherina Daldrup (1793-1880), who emigrated in 1846 with their sons Anton, Joseph, William, Franz, and Bernard. Their daughter Elizabeth would make the same journey four years later, in 1850, with her husband Theodore Buxkemper. When they arrived in Texas they settled in both Fayette County and Colorado County.

The descendants of Anton and Mary Catherine Hoelscher are grouped into six major sections in this book, corresponding to the six Hoelscher children of the second generation in America... Each second generation section begins with a biography of the second generation ancestor, followed by the biographies of their third generation children. Following each third generation biography, there is a biography of each of their fourth generation children. After each fourth generation child's biography, there is a genealogical outline of that fourth generation ancestor's descendant.
