The Ladies' Auxiliary to Temple de Hirsch, Seattle, Washington, published its first cookbook in 1908. A second edition was issued in 1916. This, the third edition from 1925, according to the preface, ''retained the best recipes of the previous two editions adding many new and tried recipes.''
