Four copies located on OCLC (Library of Congress, US Naval War College, Columbia River Maritime Museum, Wisconsin Veterans Museum Research Center).

First-hand accounts and a biography of the USS Astoria (CA-34), a New Orleans-class cruiser of the U.S. Navy that participated in both the Battle of the Coral Sea and the Battle of Midway, but then sunk in August 1942, at the Battle of Savo Island. Includes a bibliography, a chart of Navy ranks and rates, and lists of both the officers and enlisted personnel who were KIA, MIA, and those who died from wounds.
