Description: Rare book is bound in lovely wood boards and a curved wood spine which have both been decorated with a hand-worked pyrographic (wood burning) image, lettering and accents done by R.F. Lalapiat. The surfaces of the boards are lightly scratched. Looks like the spine may have had red stain in the lines of the title and author at one point, but these are now mostly faded. Name on ffep. Gift inscription on 2nd fep with a date of June 9, 1939 in Buenos Aires. Rear paste-down has a sticker that says "Patente 42948." Laid in is a price tag from Harrod's Buenos Aires. 13cm x 16cm.
