Boards are covered with a lovely floral paper with an ivory colored paste down for the title. Previous owner's name and date May, 1952 with "Calcutta, India" written on ffep. All other pages are unmarked. Book has been covered in clear mylar. 4.5 x 6 inches. 116 Pages.

A lovely little book which documents the launching of a school that taught young Indian women, who were trained as hand-loom weaving teachers and which shows a bit of their lives. Small black and white photographic images scattered throughout book.
