A romance set in England, in the woods of Warden Forest and in London, with scenes in Earl's Court. The protagonist is a girl of fifteen who falls for a woodsman. The author, Charles Garvice (1850-1920), was a prolific British writer of romance novels who also wrote under the pseudonym Caroline Hart.
