Rare. Essex County, Massachusetts. Green cloth boards with gilt. Inscribed and dated by William D. Northend (recipient not indicated) on the second ffep. The first Essex Bar Association was formed in 1806, and a list of the founding members with their localities is provided. A second association was established in 1831 and the "present" association itself was formed in 1856.
