Mary Bagot Stack, (1883-1935), aka Mollie Stack, was a pioneer of women's physical culture, and who founded the League of Health and Beauty in London in 1930, after previously establishing her Bagot Stack Exercise System in the 1920s. Her system was in part inspired by her time in India where she observed the practice of hatha yoga. After her death in 1935 the work was carried on by her daughter, Prunella.
