Originally published in 1865 in an edition probably limited to about a 100 copies. This edition, published by Walker and Company in association with The Department of Printing and Graphic Arts of The Harvard College Library, utilizes the original drawings (in private hands at Harvard University) rather than the reproductive lithographs of 1865 which are made from them.
