Amy Morris Bradley (1823-1904) was an American educator. In the 1840's she taught at Charlestown's Winthrop grammar school. She established the first English-language school in Central America (San Jose, Costa Rica) and spent more than three decades in Wilmington, North Carolina, establishing free schools, and was considered the city's "mother of public schools."

Amy Morris Bradley is mentioned in the book as having been officially admitted into the Harvard Church on Feb. 3, 1850. William Murray, who presented this volume to Miss Bradley, was a prominent member of the Harvard Church. He was admitted to it on Jan.3, 1958, was its Treasurer in 1864, was one of its proprietors, and sat on the Church Committee multiple years between 1861 and 1872.
