This copy belonged to the Hispanist Tony Brand. Brand is mentioned by name in the essay by Mandel and in which he underlined a few passages and left a sticky note stating "La verdad sobre 'Deva' and 'Vera de Bidasoa.'" His address label and name are found on the inside of the front cover.
