Description: Book is heavily worn at spine edges with several stress creases along spine edges. Wraps are rubbed and lightly worn at edges. A couple creases down length of spine. Spine is broken at one of the creases and a page has come loose, but is present. 135 pp. 11 x 4 inches. No copies noted on OCLC.

An early 1970's graphic pop-art presentation describing the identification and treatment of venereal disease, focusing on Gonorrhea and Syphilis. Copies of this book were likely provided to California high schools and/or community service centers for educational purposes.

It was published simultaneously with a booklet called "To the parents of students, of which one in five will get venereal disease before high school graduation," also authored by Lindberg, Lindberg, and Paul.

In 1975 they produced a short, animated 16mm film and study guide called "The Circle of Man" that examined the symptoms, causes, and dangers of venereal disease.

James Lindberg (1939-2009) was a long time educator and administrator with the California Department of Education. Belsonia Paul (1920-2014) spent most of her working life was spent at the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health as a Social Worker and Public Health Officer.
