Volume II of the full five volume Report of the Secretary of the Interior To Congress in 1885. This volume is consists primarily of Indian Affairs (this report alone is 869 pages). Other reports included are from the Superintendents of Yellowstone National Park and Hot Springs Reservation (Arkansas) and those of the Governors of Arizona, Alaska, Dakota, Idaho, Montana, New Mexico, Utah, Washington Territory, and Wyoming. Also included are the Report of the Governor of Wyoming concerning Chinese labor troubles and the Report of Government Directors of the Union Pacific Railway Company. Includes a fold-out plat map of Hot Springs, Arkansas (detatched, but complete, showing and naming the bath houses along Central Avenue) and a fold-out "Diagram illustrating Progress of the Pacific Coast Coal Market and the Sources of Supply." The Indian Affairs report is extensive and comprehensive. It includes a six page report from the Standing Rock Agency (Dakota).
