Published for the occasion of the twenty-fifth anniversary of the church. Includes a sketch of the life of Rev. Thomas Lamb Eliot (1841-1936), a founder of the church and its minister until 1893. Eliot was an Oregon pioneer and an extremely influential member of Portland society, playing a part in the establishment of Reed College, the Library Association, the Oregon Humane Society, the Portland Art Association, the Boys & Girls Aid Society. He also happened to be T.S. Eliot's uncle.
