Joseph Gollomb (1881-1950) was a Russian-born author and novelist. He taught at the socialist-run Rand School of Social Science in New York City and was employed by the New Yorker and the Associated Press. His credentials allowed him access to the archives of police departments, including Scotland Yard, wherewith he developed material for his novels.
