Dr. Henry Ostrom (1861-1941) was born in Canada, began preaching at the age of eighteen, and served as traveling evangelist in the United States. He was affiliated with the Moody Bible Institute for two decades, was recognized as a Bible authority, and had pastorates in both Marinette, Wisconsin and Greencastle, Indiana. He also wrote hymns under the name George Walker Whitcomb.
