A very brief history, with photographs, of the Arlington Methodist Church. Includes a list of all the ministers who served at Arlington between 1883 and 1973 as recorded in the church conference minutes with a parallel list of the ministers between 1883 and 1916 as recorded by the Rev. A. B. Hotchkiss.
This booklet was published for the occasion of the dedication of the new church building, held on Sunday, April 21, 1974. As noted on the rear cover, this copy was donated by the author to Oregon State University's Horner Museum Reference Library (discarded). The author, Marion Tasker Weatherford (1906-1990), was a longtime Arlington resident, wheat farmer, cattle rancher, and author of Arlington: Child of the Columbia. He was the grandson of pioneer William Washington Weatherford, the man who built the first structure in Arlington.
