Charles Estabrook Cory [1852-1933] was born in Blenheim, Ontario, Canada and immigrated to the US in 1871. In 1874 he moved to Kansas where he was a leading educator, high school principal, and Bourbon County attorney. He was a longtime resident of Fort Scott.
