Theodore Christian Frye (1869-1962) was a longtime biology professor at the University of Washington and served on the faculty between 1903 and 1947. Between 1903 and 1907 he was the school's only biology professor and was in charge of the Marine Biological Station at Friday Harbor (San Juan Island, Washington) for seventeen years.
