America in the Threefold World was an Anthroposophical study letter produced for a working study group interested in the spiritually seen America, the Mystery of America, and the Social Question Impulse. Those involved were associated with the Rudolf Steiner College at Fair Oaks (near Sacramento), California and the Ralph Waldo Emerson Study Center, also in Fair Oaks. The Rudolf Steiner College evolved out of the Sacramento Center for Anthroposophical Studies, founded by a small group including Carl Stegmann (1897-1996) in the fall of 1976. In 2000 the college dedicated Carl Stegmann Hall, its new building and teacher training facility.
